Sipi Falls on Mt. Elgon

Sipi Falls on Mt. Elgon are about a 5h drive in the East of Kampala, bordering Kenya. And they are great! First, we did a stopover in Mbale at the foot of Mt. Elgon, hanging out and visiting the local market. On Mt. Elgon we put up our new tent for the very first time and did not only enjoy a spectacular panorama, but also the beautiful hikes on the long and winding trails along Sipi river flowing down in three long waterfalls from the crater top of Mt. Elgon. It's one of the trips I'd redo anytime...
